Ven.Neminda, city elders and volunteers conducted a meeting in the Ratha Aungmye Library on 19th August, 2015. “Pannaparami” Educational Counseling Committee was formed on 19th August, 2015 in the same meeting with the purpose of sharing educational advice with students in Myanaung and beyond.

At the same time, committee members and educational volunteers kept discussing publishing a book, titled Pyinnar Pankhin and how to help students in and around Myanaung. This is beginning of Pyinnyar Pankin English Training Center. Then people offered charity forpublishing Pyinnyar Pankhin Book.

On 11 September 2015, Ven.Neminda delivered educational speech to the students, teachers and city people who love schooling and did open discussion with attenders in Kyaung Gyi High School in Myanaun

That was a second step of Pannaparami Educational Counseling Committee forward with expectations that can help students something different. Students actively participated in the discussion and the discussion won to live up to expectation.

We are supremely confident that vanguards of democracy, freedom, and discovery will be born among them. Free distribution of Pyinnyar Pankhin Book and CD to the students, teachers and people was done after discussion and the book and CD can be got any time at Myayatanar Jewelry Shop and Ratha Aungmye Library. After discussion, Ven.Neminda started teaching different classes in Nan Oo Meditation Center

  •   Intermediate Class 6:00-8:00 pm ( Monday-Friday) in Myanaung

Pyinnyar Pankhin Teaching focus students’ attention on the prior knowledge and vocabulary they have had already. Let them use these by eliciting opinions, ideas and thinking rather than learning lessons in parrot fashion.

So as to develop critical thinking and creativity, students are always encouraged to create own stories. Teacher refreshes their memory by playing vocabulary games

4. The window –library is open for the students. Different kinds of books are there for the different levels. It is also called Bamboo Library as all we need to build the library is just some bamboo. Most of books in the library are presents from American Teacher Dawn.

She loves Pyinnyar Pankhin students and wants them to improve their English skills by reading books. As she expected, students read books and tell to the class what they read. However, that is a must for all of Pyinnyar Pankhin students.

Mitzima Media and MRTV showed up for interview with the teacher.  American Teacher Dawn visited Pyinnyar Pankhin English Training Center on Oct 26, 2015. She brought loving kindness as well as books for Pyinnyar Pankhin students. “Some say we shouldn’t live to eat but instead eat to live.

I would go even further and say we live for work!” ( Mahagandhayum Sayadaw). Teacher Dawn met Pyinnyar Pankhin students and taught them even in her available time in Myanaung although she was tired out for the long trip.

Occasionally, one evening excursion is arranged to the particular place.

Sitting in the same place in the same room makes students bored. The message of things to learn is not only in the book but also in any place you have been and at everything you have looked.

The teacher and students make a tour to the certain place. Students learn a lot from the short trip and that kind of trip helps students to kindle their enthusiasm, eager and interest within them.

.

The teacher, committee members and students gave discussion on “what is next”. To run a society, a class or center, actually we need to have enough funds. That is why we all decided to raise Pyinnyar Pankhin funds for further activities such as regular classes or summer classes.

Committee sells Pyinnyar Pankhin Exercise Books for Pyinnyar funds. That kind of teamwork helps to make social refreshment. So, let’s keep going.

This is a photo of the teacher and students in front of Sima building, which is the class hall too, for the Pyinnyar Pankhin Exercose.

When Pyinnyar Pankhin Exercise Books arrived, students and committee members sold them house-to-house for funds.

Pyinnyar Pankhin had an idea to motivate other students to join Pyinnyar Pankhin Classes. That was Pyinnyar Pankhin Students will give English Exhibition. Students will show their English skills to encourage others. It is named as Road To English Show.

On 19 Nov 2015, Ven. Neminda, students and committee members discussed when, where and how Road To English Show will be held. The decision was the Show will be held at the public square of Myanaung on 29 of November, 2015. There were many different parts in one show but everyone took their share at their bes

Advertising, preparing, rehearsing, organizing and raising funds needed to be done and were done. It aims for the potential students, not for themselves, not for Pyinnyar Pankhin. 29.11.2015’s evening. This was the moment everybody was waiting for.

A DVB reporter attended the show and the Pyinnyar Pankhin Teacher Ven.Neminda and a Pyinnyar Pankhin student, May Swant Sint Yee, were interviewed. Interviewer: “What is the key purpose of this show?” Interviewee: “Simply we want other students join our classes and want them to have opportunities, golden opportunities to be skillful in English.” etc.

In the show, all students performed very well and it is believed that this show can put Myanaung on the map.

“Does our town have that kind of training center?”

Unbelievable! “Every moment in the show is amazing!” “Mommy!I want to speak English like them. Can I join that class?” “That is great.” “Actually that is more than greatest!”

“It helps children to perform on the stage.” “Sir, Can you teach me English, I like your students. They are my heroes

.”

I have got hundreds of positive response for this show. I said to myself “Well done, Pyinnyar Pankhin Students, Well done! You did it!!!  12. The final program in Road To English Show is questions and answers section.

The Show audiences asked questions in English and Pyinnyar Pankhin Teacher, Ven.Neminda and a Pyinnyar Pankhin student, May Swan Sint Yee took all of the questions in English. “The important thing is not to stop questions” (Albert Einstein). The more questions they have, the more knowledge they will gain. The audiences asked questions and we Pyinyar Pankhin took all questions.

That means we all took our responsibility for the coming generations. The audiences were pleased as they have got what they want to know and Pyinnyar Pankhin was happy as we give what they want to know. Students’ improvement is Pyinnyar Pankhin’s succes

s.

After Road To English Show, Pyinnyar Pankhin students, committee members and city firemen gave the city square clean where held the Show was held. That’s because Pyinnyar Pankhin belives that taking responsibility is a part of our life and bears in mind that “action speaks louder than words.”

Therefore, Pyinnyar Pankhin joined the cleaning to show right way to the next generation with conscientious heart.
